Instructions on how to get ready for borrowing electronic media
Please note: You'll need a 14-digit barcode Library card number. If you have an older card number, please stop by and we can get you a new one.
Step 1)
Visit The Official Blog of the New Hampshire Downloadable Books Service. Depending on the types of books you would like to download (audio or eBook) and depending on the platforms and devices you intend to use, there are different sets of instructions you will need to select.
Step 2)
AFTER you have downloaded the OverDrive app/software and set up your account, you will be able to search and checkout books via the NH Downloadable Books Consortium.
Step 3)
Sign in by selecting "Chesterfield Public Library" and then using the 14-digit barcode number from the back of your library card. If your current card has less than 14 digits, you'll need to visit the Library to get a new barcode.
